Black Holes, Wormholes and Time Travel

INTRODUCTION

In this blog post, I am gonna brief you about Black holes, Worm holes and Time travelling.

Black Holes

Black Holes are giant objects present in open universe and you can't see them with naked eye, they can only be located with the help of radioactive waves. These objects form when stars burn out of gas and along with this, the star goes through a supernova, all the dust particles and outer layers of the massive star are thrown off in the explosion, light rays increasingly bent by gravity as core collapses and the core which is greater than three solar masses collapses under its own gravity and density, pressure and temperature of core increases as core collapses and the core shrinks beyond its event horizon to become a black hole and even light rays cannot escape this giant object as its gravitational pull is very strong. So, it's not a good idea to go near a black hole as it will swallow you like a noodle. Many theories suggest that there is a giant black hole in the centre of our home galaxy ,.i.e., the Milky Way Galaxy which is the reason of all the things held in a place like the sun holds the planets in its place. Around the black hole, there is an accretion disc or we can simply say the matter which is spiralling around the black hole.



Worm Holes

 So, this was just an intro of black holes and the next thing which comes is wormhole which has not been found till present, they are just present in theories only. You must've heard about the General Theory of Relativity and the Special Theory of Relativity given by respected Sir A. Einstein, he gave the idea of wormholes as objects through which we can travel through time as they are holes which have two ends, one is past and one is future, if you go inside this thing, you will be in future and the time travelled depends upon the size of the wormhole. They are the most unpredictable objects in the universe and of course, they have not been found yet but maybe sooner or later, something like wormholes will come up. And if we are able to found one, then it will definitely help in improving our technology to a very high level and teleportation and time travel will become possible which today are just present in theories. And we will be at type 1 level according to kardashev's scale. If you don't know what is a kardashev's scale, I'll brief about it in another blog. Actually, the thing is sir A. Einstein has already given the mechanism of time travel but just the thing is that we don't have that much technology to use that. He said that when you are in motion, time gets slow, although it gets slow at a very negligible amount but when you travel at the speed of light, time will slow down at a very big level and that's what we can call time travel as the other person who is not moving with speed of light will get aged first than you. But that's the thing that we cannot travel at the speed of light as we don't have the appropriate technology.
